This is a must read book to understand who we are and why we are living on earth.
We consist of the flesh, the spirit, and the soul.
I Thessalonians 5:23 … and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are spiritual beings in a body of flesh. The greatest part of our being is the spirit within. When we grow in knowledge only seeing through the eyes of the flesh, we inhibit our ability and desire to be more fulfilled and enlightened. Our spirit within us can access a greater knowledge of understanding through a higher power. We are influenced by two spirits of the air. The spirit of err influences those focused on the desires of the flesh, selfishness of the heart. The Spirit of God, Holy Spirit, influences those focused on the love in their heart for others. FOCUS ON THE SPIRIT, NOT THE FLESH.
When Jesus spoke people did listen but they did not understand what He was saying. Jesus spoke mostly in parables. His words can not be interpret at face value, they had a greater and deeper meaning. The guidance of the Holy Spirit is LIFE unto God. When Jesus said that He came to give life, He was referring to reuniting His lost sheep with the Holy Spirit in the heart so believers may live unto God and not self. Living unto self is the great lie of life satan established without the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Jesus came to deliver believers from the bondage of living in the great lie of life. Those living in the great lie of life are dead to life and Jesus came to give life.
Many Christians believe that only Christians will be going to heaven. They base this belief through Christian doctrine. Christian doctrine teaches that Jesus came to give life to those who believe. Are the believers those who believe in Jesus Christ or those who do the will of God through the Holy Spirit in the heart? The Holy Spirit is life unto God. The scriptures give understanding.
And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
The scriptures warn the true believers, those who have the Holy Spirit in their heart, not to deny the guidance of the Holy spirit in their daily lives.
The great controversy between God the Father and Satan involved the Holy Spirit. Satan turned away from the love of God in the kingdom of heaven, rejecting the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Satan proposed a new way of living without the love of God. He convinced a third part of the beloved angels to reject the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The deceived angels went throughout the kingdom of heaven to deceive the inhabitants, the children of the kingdom. The creation of man is the direct result of this controversy in the kingdom of heaven.
Salvation through Jesus Christ is greater than most Christians understand. The mission to earth by the Son of God was three-fold. He came to save His lost sheep from the great lie of life. He came to expose the works of Satan and his great lie against the love of God, condemning Satan and his followers. He came to save, restore the kingdom of heaven, from those who rejected the love of God while living in the kingdom, this is the cleansing of the heavenly sanctuary.
The belief in Jesus Christ will not automatically get anyone to heaven. Matthew 7:21 – Jesus said, Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
The only way a person can do the will of God is through the guidance of the Holy Spirit in the heart of man. Those who have the Holy Spirit in their heart have access to the kingdom of heaven. The belief in Jesus Christ alone can not get someone to heaven.
